Richard made a good point last night. We’ve been hanging on this operation date for the last 18 months. It’s governed where we are and when we go on holiday even to the extent of diverting phones when on a plane in case the call came through. The 2 years prior to that were full of tests to see if he was suitable. It was in 2014 that we finally found which part of the brain was causing the fits. So all in all a journey of 4 years
But for the surgeon and the hospital staff … it’s just another Friday…. a routine day for them.
Richard went down to surgery this morning. We met with both the anaesthetist and the surgeon for final questions. Richard asked if they could take some photos of the op for him and I asked if they could make him lose 5kg as he’s got a bit porky of late …., well these things are important😂
